When we offer “Minpos campaign system” (hereinafter referred to as “campaign,”) we acquire minimum information necessary for the management of campaign from the registered users (hereinafter referred to as “users.”)
We handle personal information obtained from the users with utmost care.
The following is our corporate policy toward handling of personal information:
The user registration for campaigns require entry of personal information such as name and e-mail address according to the terms and conditions of each campaign. In case of campaigns that work with Facebook, we obtain authorized information such as name, sex, Facebook URL, Facebook login e-mail address etc. via Facebook API.
When winners are selected, we acquire necessary information such as birthdate, address, telephone number, and place of work with winners’ consent. Depending on each campaign’s requirements, winners may be asked to submit a copy of driver’s license or a receipt of utility bill for identity verification (for which we do not ask for a copy of family register.) In case of minors, their parents or legal guardians will be asked to provide above stated information. In case of self-employed or non-employed winners, when the campaign requires proof of employment, they may be asked to submit necessary information of their spouse.
In all cases we handle users’ personal information appropriately in accordance with our privacy policy.
We utilize personal information in the following cases:
We may entrust handling of personal information to our subcontractors within the scope necessary to executing the operations described above.
We shall not disclose nor provide personal information to third parties unless we have users’ consent with prior notification regarding purpose of use and receiving parties.
Entry of personal information is up to individuals; however, user registration for the campaign cannot be completed without it, therefore privileges for the registered users will not be available.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraphs, we may disclose or provide personal information in the following cases:
We may use cookies in order to make reliable connection between users’ PC and our websites to transmit/receive data, and to customize the contents to match individual user’s needs. A cookie is a text file sent by a website and stored on user’s hard disk, etc., which is not capable of executing any programs nor transmitting viruses to PCs. A cookie is assigned to individual user, and only the web server on the domain which issued the cookie can read it. On almost all browsers the use of cookies is enabled by default. The browser setting can be changed to suit each user’s preference, however, when the use of cookies is disabled, all or some services may become unavailable.
When disclosure of personal information is requested by a registered customer, we will verify his/her identity and disclose requested personal information in accordance with prescribed procedures; and in case any error or incorrect entry is found, we will make the correction of the information.
We will post a notice of revision when making change to this document.
