Q. Sony Corporation is sponsoring your page. Can people without a Sony camera become a member? Can we post videos taken with cameras other than Sony? ソニー株式会社がスポンサードしているようですが、ソニー製のカメラを持っていない人でもメンバーになれますか？他社製のカメラで撮影した動画を投稿しても良いのですか？: A. Sure! We welcome anyone who loves videos and/or cameras. You are welcome to post videos taken with any camera of your choice. もちろんです。動画、カメラのどれかが好きな方であればどなたでも大歓迎です。また、ソニー製以外のカメラで撮影された動画もぜひ投稿ください。
Q. Is “World in Slow Motion” only for Japanese and photos of Japan? 「World in Slow Motion」は日本人や日本の動画に限定されていますか？: A. No. We welcome everyone from all over the world and any video taken anywhere. いいえ。「World in Slow Motion」は世界中のどなたでもご参加いただけます。作品も世界のどこで撮影されたものでも大歓迎です。
Q. I do not live in Tokyo. Can I become a member? 日本在住ではないけれどメンバーになれる？: A. Of course! You do not have to be a resident in Japan. Our members come from all over the world! もちろんです。日本在住であるかどうかは全く関係ございません。メンバーの中にも各地にお住まいの方は多数いらっしゃいます。
Q. I want to manage what kind of videos appear in my newsfeed. ニュースフィードに配信される動画の種類を管理したい。: A. Unfortunately, Facebook does not have such features. Facebookの仕様でそれは出来ないようです。申し訳ございません。
Q. Named “World in Slow Motion”, do you only accept slow motion videos? World in Slow Motionということは投稿できるのはスローモーション動画だけですか？: A. Yes. However, your video does not have to be completely in slow motion. We accept videos that partially contain slow motion, too. Please note that we can only accept videos you own copyrights for. We do not accept videos violating “World in Slow Motion” and/or Facebook’s terms of service. はい。ただし、スローモーション動画のみのものだけでなく、スローモーションを織り交ぜた動画であれば投稿を受け付けております。なお、ご自身が著作権を保有されていてWorld in Slow Motion、及びFacebookの規約に違反していない動画を対象としております。

Q. When posting, can I include sound and music in the video? 動画を投稿する際に音声や音楽が入っていても良いのですか？: A. Of course! Sound and music are not a requirement of videos posted on “World in Slow Motion”, but we do welcome videos with sound! Please note that most sound and music are copyrighted. Please do not post videos containing sound and music you do not own without permission from the copyright holder. はい。動画に音声や音楽などが入っていることは必須ではありませんが、入っているものも大歓迎です。なお、音声や音楽には著作権があるものがございます。無断で所有権のない音声や音楽を使用した動画の投稿はご遠慮ください。
Q. Can I post monochrome videos? モノクロの動画も投稿して良いのですか？: A. Of course! We welcome both color and monochrome work. はい。もちろんです。カラー、モノクロどちらも大歓迎です。
Q. I don't own a camera. Can I be a member? カメラを持っていないのだけれどメンバーになれるの？: A. Sure! We welcome all video lovers. はい。動画が好きな方なら大歓迎です。
Q. I don't own a SLR camera. Can I post my video on “World in Slow Motion”? 一眼レフカメラを持っていないのだけれど動画を投稿しても良いの？: A. Sure! We welcome videos taken with any kind of shooting equipment; SLRs, compact digital cameras, mobile phones… you name it. Just be careful that your video/post does not include any prohibited material listed on our guidelines. はい。一眼でもコンパクトでも携帯でも取扱説明書に反していない物であれば大歓迎です。
Q. If Sony Corporation is sponsoring “World in Slow Motion”, does my work have to be taken with a Sony camera? Are work taken with Sony cameras preferred more than videos taken with other cameras? ソニー株式会社がスポンサードしているようですが、ソニーのカメラで撮影した作品である必要はありますか？また、ソニーのカメラで撮影された作品が優先されますか？: A. No. Your work does not have to be taken with a Sony camera. Regarding promotional posts, videos taken with Sony cameras will be selected. However, for normal posts, camera type and manufacturer will not affect our selection process. いいえ。ソニーのカメラで撮影された作品である必要はありません。PR投稿についてはソニーのカメラで撮影した作品が選ばれますが、通常の運営時には撮影されたカメラのメーカー、タイプは影響しません。
Q. Can I post a YouTube link or link of another video service? 動画投稿は、YouTubeやその他動画投稿サイトに投稿した際のURLを記載する形でも良いのですか？: A. Unfortunately, no. Please directly post your video on Facebook just like posting a photo. Please note that we basically delete or hide posts sharing YouTube links or any URLs leading to other websites as commercial posts. 申し訳ありません。動画の投稿は写真と同様の方法でFacebookに直接投稿してください。YouTubeやその他動画投稿サイトに投稿したものをFacebookにシェアしたり、URLを入れたりといった形での投稿は基本すべて宣伝投稿と見なして削除・非表示となりますのでご注意ください。
Q. Can I post a video I've posted elsewhere? 他で公開した動画を投稿しても良いですか？: A. Yes. You can post videos you have posted elsewhere, as long as the video belongs to you, and the video does not violate “World in Slow Motion’s” guidelines and Facebook's terms of service. はい。ご自身が著作権を保有されていてWorld in Slow Motion、及びFacebookの規約に違反していない、動画であれば公開済みの作品であっても大歓迎です。
Q. Can I post works that have been processed with PC software? PCアプリを使った加工した作品を投稿して良いのでしょうか？: A. Sure! At “World in Slow Motion”, we welcome any post-processed video as long as the image is originally taken with a camera. However, please note, videos and 3DCG created from scratch, do not match the intentions of ”World in Slow Motion”. はい。当ページではカメラで撮影をした後に加工したものであればそうした動画も大歓迎です。なお、全てを人為的に作成した動画や3DCGはサイトの主旨と異なりますのでご遠慮ください。
Q. I use Facebook's iOS app on my iPhone. I am disappointed that "Posts by Others" has been removed from the new app. iPhone向けFacebookアプリを使っています。Facebookアプリに以前はあった「他ユーザーからの投稿」欄がなくなり困っています。: A. “World in Slow Motion” has not made any special changes regarding this matter. It seems like Facebook's app features have been renewed. Please kindly understand. 本件に関して運営は一切特別な設定をしていません。アプリの仕様が変わったようです。大変申し訳ございませんがご容赦頂けますと幸いです。
Q. I have a problem uploading my video. 動画の投稿が上手くできない。: A. For detailed descriptions to posting on “World in Slow Motion”, please refer to our How to Post page. “World in Slow Motion’s” post form uses Facebook's functions; therefore, posting problems depend on Facebook's specifications. If you are posting from your mobile phone, please check the status of your internet connection, and try again later, or try from a different location.
Recently, some of our members have reported to us that photos posted from their Facebook page, instead of their personal Facebook account, do not show up on our "Recent Posts by Others" list. Our management team is able to see these posts, but is not visible to posters. Unfortunately, we do not know why this is occurring. We appreciate your understanding. 投稿方法は作品投稿方法をご覧ください。投稿機能については独自の設定はしていませんので、Facebookの仕様次第となりますことご容赦ください。なお、携帯からの投稿の場合は通信状況にも大きく影響されますので、しばらく待つか、別の場所からの投稿をお試しください。
なお、個人アカウントではなくFacebookページとして投稿をされた動画が「ユーザーからの最近の投稿」に反映されない状態が発生しています。運営からはその投稿が見えているのですが、投稿者からは見えないようです。こちらの問題については対策が分からない状態ですので、ご容赦ください。
Q. I want members to include information of their shooting location. 投稿者には撮影機材、場所、設定を記載して欲しい。: A. At “World in Slow Motion”, we’d love our members to post the location and time of year their video was taken, but this is not a requirement. We prefer our members to be able to post their video casually. 申し訳ございません。現時点では投稿して下さる方が自主的に記入いただくのは歓迎していますが、これらの記入を投稿の条件とはしない方針です。投稿して下さる方の気軽さを優先したいと考えています。
Q. This photo looks like it has been taken by trespassing a restricted area. I want to point this out/accuse the videographer because I think this is a breach of shooting manners. この作品は撮影禁止場所に入って撮影をしたように見える。撮影マナーを守ってないように見えるのでコメント欄でそのことを指摘/糾弾したい。: A. Please hold on. Is the video really taken from a restricted area? Is the shooting procedure really a breach of manners? It may not be what you think. If you are not absolutely sure, do not accuse the videographer. Please ask for the details of the video instead.

We understand that bad manners of some individuals are disturbing and we are against such behavior. However, at “World in Slow Motion” and Tokyo Camera Club, videos shared by our staff are viewed by thousands of people. Same with comments you post on videos.

Consequently, if your accusation is false, you will be defaming the videographer’s honor and dignity in front of thousands of people. And the videographer will not be able to clarify his/her position without knowing that his/her photo has been shared by our staff. We need to prevent this by any means.

So, please do not point out or accuse the videographer based on assumptions that may be false.

If we find such comments, our staff will delete them based on our decisions. In case of serious offense, we will have to block your activity on “World in Slow Motion”. お待ちください。それは本当に不適切な撮影ですか？そう見えているだけではありませんか？確証が無ければ質問にとどめてください。

運営としても撮影時のマナーに問題がある方がいらっしゃることは認識していますし、そうした撮影には反対しています。しかしながら、運営がシェアした作品はたくさんの方がご覧になりますので、その作品に投稿なさるコメントも相当数の方に届きます。

その結果、指摘/糾弾なさったコメントが思い込みによるものであった場合は、投稿された方が運営シェアされたことに気付くまでの間、投稿された方は何の対応もできない状態の中、大変多くの方の前で誹謗中傷に晒され、名誉、信頼を深く傷つけられる可能性があるのです。これは何としても避けなければなりません。

どうか思い込みの可能性がある段階での断定的な指摘/糾弾は避けてください。
もし、こうしたコメントがあった場合は、運営は運営の判断に基づいて、そうしたコメントを非表示・削除します。また、悪質であると運営が判断した場合は残念ですがブロックをさせていただきます。
Q. This photo looks like environmental destruction/animal-abuse. I want to point this out/accuse the videographer because I think the shooting procedure is disturbing. この動画は環境破壊、動物虐待を行って撮影した作品に見える。撮影方法が不適切に見えるのでコメント欄でそのことを指摘/糾弾したい。: A. Please hold on. Is it really environmental destruction/animal-abuse? Is the shooting procedure really disturbing? It may not be what you think. If you are not absolutely sure, do not accuse the videographer. Please ask for the details of the video instead.

At “World in Slow Motion” and Tokyo Camera Club, videos shared by our staff are viewed by thousands of people. Same with comments you post on videos.

Q. My video, or video of a client I officially represent, has been posted on “World in Slow Motion” without consent. 私、または私が正式な代理を務める著作権者の動画が無断で投稿されている。: A. As written on “World in Slow Motion’s” guidelines, we require our members to only post videos they own. We take it very seriously if any copyright infringement is found. In such case, please send us the following information. (The copyright holder himself/herself, or official representative must give us this information.) We will investigate the matter, and if copyright infringement is found, we will delete the post and warn the member.

Q. Starting March 1st, 2014, why have you stopped using Facebook’s “Share” function when sharing members’ posts? 2014年3月1日から運営シェアの方法にFacebookの機能「シェア」形式を使わなくなったのは何故ですか？: A. We have decided to change our method of sharing due to the increase of false accusations and defamation regarding shooting procedures, and people replacing posts with advertisements after our staff share them. This change will help us:

1. Edit and update information of posts to prevent false accusations and defamation from spreading.
2. Stop users from replacing posts with advertisements after our staff share them.

We apologize for the inconvenience to those who are unrelated these incidents. We ask for your kind understanding, so that we can prevent users from running into unpleasant experiences due to inappropriate usage of “World in Slow Motion”. 作品の撮影方法に関する誤解と思い込みによる誹謗中傷にあたるコメントが行われるケースや運営者によるシェア後に投稿を広告と差し替える方が増えてきたため、

　１）運営投稿コメントの追記・修正による誤解の拡散防止ができる
　２）広告目的の投稿者による運営シェア後の投稿差し替えができない

Q. Was my video/comment hidden or deleted? 私の投稿した動画・コメントは非表示・削除されましたか？: A. Unfortunately, we cannot answer questions regarding individual posts. 個別の投稿に関する質問にはお答えできません。ご容赦ください。
Q. Is it safe for members to directly post videos onto your page? 参加者に動画を直接投稿してもらっているようだが大丈夫なのか？: A. As you pointed out, at this moment, at “World in Slow Motion”, we accept all posts without prior checking. We can do this because the vast majority of our members abide by our guidelines. If problems occur often, we may change our policy, but we would like to continue accepting all posts as long as possible. ご指摘の通り、現在、「World in Slow Motion」では全て投稿をチェックせずに受け付けさせていただいております。現状、参加いただいている多くの方々が取扱説明書を順守してくださっているからです。問題が多発するようであれば変更する可能性はございますが、運営メンバーとしては出来るだけ現行の方式を続けたいと考えています。
Q. Why was my video/comment deleted? 私の投稿した動画・コメントが消されたのは何故？: A. Any post violating our guidelines or found inappropriate by our staff will be deleted. We cannot answer individual questions regarding our deletion criteria.

In most cases, posts are deleted because:

　　1. The video includes a URL in large font. (Crediting or watermarking your video is OK)
　　2. The post includes a URL.

To prevent unwanted advertisements, posts with URLs are prohibited. Posts that apply to 1 and/or 2 will be automatically deleted, so please be careful. (To prevent trouble, we DO NOT make case-by-case decisions. Thank you for your understanding.) 取扱説明書違反していると私どもが判断した投稿については恐縮ですが非表示、または削除させていただくことがございます。なお、非表示・削除の理由などについては個別回答をしておりません。どうかご容赦ください。

なお、全般的な傾向として一番多い理由は

　　１）動画自体に大きくURLを記入している（クレジット記載は問題ございません）
　　２）投稿文にURLを記入している

ことです。広告目的の投稿を防ぐために、運営による発見漏れが無い限り上記2条件に該当する投稿は、その飛び先や意図に関わらず半自動的に非表示、または削除させていただいておりますのでご注意ください。（個別の判断を入れるとトラブルの原因となるためどうかご容赦ください。）
Q. Why don't you share my post? Why don't you share better videos? 私の投稿はなぜシェアされないの？もっと良い動画があるのになぜそれはシェアされないの？: A. If the video is yours, please check whether or not:

1. Your video includes a URL in large font. (Crediting or watermarking your video is OK)
2. Your post includes a URL.
3. Your [Platform] setting under [Settings] -> [Apps] -> [Apps others use] is unchecked.

If your video applies to 1 and/or 2, it is most likely that your video has been automatically hidden or deleted as an advertisement. If 3 is applicable, our staff may not have checked your video yet. We use an original app when checking posts, where video posted by members with their [Apps others use] setting turned off do not appear on our app.

At this moment, at “World in Slow Motion”, all videos posted on our page are visible to all members. So, in terms of selection criteria, our guidelines should serve as a reference. (If your video violates our guidelines, it will be deleted.)

Many videos posted on our Facebook pages have received lots of “Likes” and comments even though our management staff have not shared them. Our Facebook page is not a contest site. We want it to be a place to enjoy great videos with camera and video fans. Therefore, we think sharing by our staff is only a supplement and the primary objective of our Facebook page is for our fans to have a good time communicating with each other. それがご自身の投稿である場合は、まず始めに、

　　１）動画自体に大きくURLを記入していないか（クレジット記載は問題ございません）
　　２）投稿文にURLを記入していないか
　　３）「プラットフォーム」設定が「オフ」になっていないか

をご確認ください。１）２）に該当する場合は広告投稿として自動的に非表示・削除されている可能性があります。３）に該当する場合は運営が投稿を通常確認しているシステムでの確認ができないため、運営の判断対象から漏れている、判断対象となる時期が大きく遅れている可能性があります。

また、「World in Slow Motion」では（少なくとも現状は）皆様に投稿いただいた全動画が全部員の方から閲覧可能な状態となる設定になっています。よって、採用基準という意味では取扱説明書を参考になさってください。（これに反しているものは非表示・削除とさせていただいています。）

そして、実際に多数の素晴らしい動画に、運営によるシェアが無い状態でも多くの「いいね！」やコメントが入る状態となってきています。当部はコンテスト会場ではなく、あくまでもカメラ・動画好きな皆様と一緒に動画を楽しむ場です。そのため、私どもとしては運営によるシェアは「おまけ」のようなもので、ここでの皆様の交流が当部の本質だと考えています。どうかご理解ください。
Q. Is there a specific timeframe for videos being shared? シェアの対象となるのは何時までに投稿した動画なの？: A. We don't know about the future, but at this moment, we do not have a specific sharing timeframe or deadline. This is the same with all of our Facebook pages. We don't only share recent posts, so there will always be a chance for your post to be shared. 将来は分かりませんが、現状では特段期限は設けていません。いずれのページにおいても、直近の物だけを対象にしている訳ではありません。何時かシェアさせていただく可能性はございます。
Q. Can I “Like”, comment, or share a post? 投稿されている動画に「いいね！」、コメント、シェアをしても良いのでしょうか？: A. Sure! Members who post on our Facebook page, assume their posts will be “Liked”, commented (excluding being advised or criticized), and shared by other members. はい。ぜひお願いします。当部に投稿されている方は、投稿されたすべての動画に皆様から「いいね！」、コメント（動画へのアドバイスは別です）、シェアをしていただくことを前提とされています。
Q. Do I need permission to share a video? Do I need to comment that I will be sharing? 投稿されている動画をシェアする際には事前に許可を得る、又はコメントでシェアすることを書き込む必要がありますか？: A. No. We encourage casual sharing. We believe the easiness of sharing posts is a great feature of Facebook. Of course we welcome comments, but you do not have to comment to get permission when sharing a post. Sharing without commenting is not rude at all.
If you think people should comment or get permission before sharing a post… we're sorry, this place is not for you. Please do not participate in our activities. And please do not criticize people for casually sharing posts. Q. I want advice regarding the video I posted. 自分が投稿した動画へのアドバイスが欲しい。: A. Please refer to our “How to Post” page. By including “Please advise” in your comment, our members may give you advice. Q. I am sad that the video I posted is receiving heartless comments. 私が投稿した動画に心無いコメントが入って悲しい。: A. We are sad too. We may be able to hide/delete the comment for you. Please send a message to our Facebook page. It may take a while, but we will consider carefully to respond to your request. それは私どもも悲しいです。コメントについては非表示・削除の選択もございますので運営メンバーにメッセージでご相談ください。少し時間がかかるかもしれませんが、出来るだけ対応をさせていただきたいと考えています。
Q. Can I attach a video when commenting? コメントに動画を添付できるようになったけれど使っても良いですか？: A. No. At “World in Slow Motion”, we ask you NOT to attach a video with your comment. When we find a photo or video attached to a comment, we will take it as an advertisement, and automatically delete or hide your post, so please be careful. いいえ。当ページではコメントに写真および動画を添付することをご遠慮いただいております。発見し次第、基本すべて宣伝投稿と見なして削除・非表示となりますのでご注意ください。
Q. I want “World in Slow Motion” to post videos of a specific theme. I want “World in Slow Motion” to organize a specific event. ある特定のテーマで動画を募集して欲しい。特定の企画を実施して欲しい。: A. It is very important that our members to have a good time at “World in Slow Motion”. So, if there is a specific theme you'd like to post, feel free to post! If there is an event you'd like to propose, please send us a message.
